Beverley U-16’s travelled to local rivals Hullensians and lost a close game 20-10.
Playing against the wind, Beverley took the lead with scrum half Oliver Scanlan going over from a line out drive and maul. Hullensians responded with a kick over the top and the winger touching down to make it 7-5.
Beverley regained the lead with Charlie Carling going over in the corner. but Hullensians scored again before half time to make it 12-10.
Playing with the wind Beverley were unable to get any territory or possession and Hullensians scored a further try and penalty to make it 20-10 at the final whistle of a frustrating game.
